Meet the squad competing for the California Black Bears in Major League Pickleball's 2026 season. Six players, one goal: make the playoffs.

Australian standout with a fierce singles game, pro since 2024. A consistent medal threat in singles and doubles on tour, she led the Bears statistically at MLP Columbus to open the season.

Top-10 men's doubles pro and one of the few at that level without a tennis background — he picked up a paddle at 14, playing with his mom. Balances the tour with a business degree from Missouri. Joins the Bears for MLP Chicago.

Arizona native who picked up pickleball in late 2023 after leaving tennis and was competing on the PPA within months. Fearless, fast-rising, and one of the sport's brightest young talents. Acquired from Chicago in July 2026.

Colombian pro and 2017 NCAA DII tennis national champion (University of West Florida). A crafty lefty who turned pro in 2022 and has reached multiple PPA Tour podiums in men's and mixed doubles. Joined the Bears in a June 2026 trade.

Minneapolis pro with a steady all-court game across singles, women's doubles, and mixed. Reached the main draws in all three disciplines at the 2026 PPA Finals. Acquired from Florida in July 2026.

Australia's top-ranked men's player. Discovered pickleball in Austin while earning a postgrad electrical-engineering degree; a former competitive soccer player. Added to the Bears in May 2026.

Former Valdosta State college tennis standout. Won PPA Challenger singles gold in Columbia and Kissimmee in 2025, then reached his first PPA Tour semifinal in Lakeland. Currently on season-ending injured reserve.
